How to Make Phone Calls on an iPad

Using FaceTime
FaceTime is a built-in application on all iPads that allows you to make video and audio calls to other Apple devices. This feature is particularly useful for connecting with friends and family who also use Apple devices.
- Open the FaceTime app on your iPad
- Enter the Apple ID or phone number of the person you want to call
- Tap the video or audio call button
Remember, FaceTime calls can only be made to other Apple devices. This means that if the person you’re trying to reach doesn’t have an Apple device, you’ll need to use another method.
Using Wi-Fi Calling
If your carrier supports it, you can use Wi-Fi Calling to make phone calls from your iPad. This feature allows your iPad to make and receive calls as long as your iPhone is turned on and connected to Wi-Fi or cellular.
- Go to Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling
- Turn on Wi-Fi Calling on This iPad
- Sign in with the same Apple ID that you use on your iPhone
With Wi-Fi Calling turned on, you can make and receive calls from your iPad as long as your iPhone is turned on and connected to Wi-Fi or cellular.
Using eSIMs
